The iconic British designer Stella McCartney showcases her Spring 2025 creations during Paris Fashion Week

Trench coats, bold reds, and office siren silhouettes dominated the Stella McCartney Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear show in Paris during Fashion Week. The French capital hosted the iconic British brand at Avenue de Saxe, leaving an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower as a background. Some of the lucky attendees, including Natalie Portman, Barbara Palvin and Greta Gerwig, were treated to a stunning showcase of McCartney’s latest creations.

This collection featured a neutral palette that included unexpected pops of color, marking a refreshing departure from last year’s more muted tones, as we saw on her Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear line. Yet, true to her signature style, McCartney maintained her commitment to sustainability and ethical fashion: The Ready-To-Wear collection was crafted from 91% conscious materials, and each piece was thoughtfully designed, showcasing her innovative use of eco-friendly materials.

Inspired by the natural renewal of the season, classics are made contemporary with wearability, desirability and sustainability. This collection is, once again, true to McCartney’s DNA and design codes: “A study in the brand and the woman, refining and redefining what is iconic”, as the brand states.

She knows, and has always known, how to make the spectator remember her designs. This time, it was with a bold “Mother f*cker” tank top, making an paying homage to her iconic “About f*cking time” design – A reproduction of her DIY handmade design, worn by her when her father (Paul McCartney) was inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. A design that was recreated for McCartney’s 2024 Winter collection, and quickly worn by Zoë and Lenny Kravitz, Charli XCX and Paris Hilton. In other words, the icons of our generation.

In conclusion, the Stella McCartney Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear show not only showcased a vibrant and modern aesthetic but also reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to sustainability and ethical fashion. By blending classic and contemporary styles with eco-conscious materials, McCartney continues to push the boundaries of design while honoring her legacy.
